The Organisation

Our client is a privately owned accounting practise based in Maffra, regional Victoria. Established in 1984 the principal business owner has been practising for over 30 years in the Gippsland region accumulating immense local knowledge and expertise.They provide their clients with a personal, prompt and quality service because business is their passion. Drawing on various specialty skills, knowledge and extensive network they will work with their clients to compliment their business.

The Position

There is currently an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced accountant to join their team in a full time permanent capacity. As a certified accountant or a CPA looking to become certified you will apply your extensive skills, knowledge, and experience to assist Management with complex accounting problems whilst supporting a small team of junior accountants.

Applications welcomed from candidates with at least 3 years’ experience or more then 10 you will be rewarded with an attractive renumeration based on your experience and qualifications.

In this position you will enjoy working in regional Gippsland with well know and respected team of professionals.

About You

·        Certified Accountant with 3 – 10 years’ experience (Certified practicing accountant wanting to progress to CA)

·        Management or supervisory experience

·        Demonstrated experience with maintaining and developing client relationships

·        Excellent time management

·        Excellent computer and communication skills with a high attention to detail

·        Want to establish a long-term career in Gippsland!
