Description:
* Responsibilities include Grant Management activities such as:
o Accurate maintenance of grant subledgers,
o Process invoices, review expense reports, and maintain necessary financial records while acting as a liaison to various departments, as necessary,
o Perform duties related to the vetting the Grants Database,
o Prepare monthly payment requests related to federal programs,
o Ensuring that narrative reports are submitted in a timely manner,
o Preparation and submission of financial reports for grants,
o Support the Philanthropy Department with adhoc reporting requests related to grant programs Coordinating grant closeouts.
* Timely billing and collections of grant funds.
* Preparing schedules related to audits, including annual AAAS financial statement and Uniform Guidance (Single Audit) audits of federal awards.
* Perform various analyses on financial data at the direction of the Chief Financial Officer and Grant Accounting Manager.
* Assist with various financial and cost analysis projects or business management related projects as well as budget development and forecasting.
