TSI is reimagining their business and customer experience by delivering game changing digital solutions across a variety of market segments. TSI is using leading-edge technologies on a SaaS platform and the Internet of Things (IoT) to solve complex problems. 

The teams are using modern web stack technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3/SCSS on the Google Cloud Platform with Mongo dB, Kubernetes and Golang.

What Will You Do?

As an intern at TSI, you will be part of a software project and get real experience!

• Work side by side with the Software Engineering team and contribute to a project team

• Develop an understanding of new product development applying the skills you have acquired through your education

• Work with leading edge technologies to develop sophisticated electronic measurement instruments and applications

• Work with modern development tools

• Experience new product development from the beginning to the end of a project

• Have real work and projects on day one

• Have active mentorship and guidance throughout the internship

• 10—12-week paid summer internship for you to grow professionally and personally

• Desktop, mobile and/or cloud application development

• Object oriented design and component software architecture

• Agile Scrum methodology experience

• Database interface

• GUI design and implementation using the Vue.js framework

• Design, develop, test, debug and implement new features and/or applications

• Creating software requirements gathering and translate to working solutions

• Opportunities to contribute to customer facing applications

• Finish your internship with a realistic software engineering job experience

What Do You Need?
Required

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field

• A minimum of 3.0 out of a 4.0 cumulative GPA preferred

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited college or university

• Experience in object-oriented programming and design patterns (i.e., Java, C#, JavaScript)

• Willing and excited to learn new technologies, self-motivated

• Attention to detail and good organization skills

• Experience with HTML5 & CSS3/SCSS or similar tech stack is a plus

• Experience with Git is a plus
