Accounting Internship at Barge Design Solutions

What We’re Looking For:

Are you a hard-working and dedicated college student who is looking to gain valuable work experience in your field? Do you want to gain experience while learning from great mentors and leaders? Barge Design Solutions is looking for someone like you to intern with us next summer.

Location: Nashville, TN

Number of positions available: 1

Schedule: Summer 2024

You will be involved in the following types of projects:

• Cash Management including invoice preparation, submission and cash receipts

• Project Administration – working with Project Managers in opening, maintaining and closing projects

• General Ledger – analysis and reconciliation

• Financial Statement – support in preparation and review

You will gain experience in:

• General Ledger and Project Accounting

• Supporting business professionals in completing daily business operations from direct project interaction with Project

• Managers as well as general accounting activities with the accounting staff

• Collaborating with team members on new ideas/innovations

• Using Microsoft Suite programs and BST

Education & Experience Qualifications:

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree from an accredited university

• Major: Accounting or Finance

• Preference will be given to students that do not require sponsorship

• Current GPA of 3.0 or higher

• You must be at least 18 years of age.

Additional Details:

• This is a paid internship working full-time hours (40) per week.

• This is an in-person work opportunity.

• Interns are not eligible for company benefits.

• Housing assistance is not provided.
