We are currently seeking a qualified Accounts Payable Clerk. The Accounts Payable Clerk processes and pays vendor invoices according to Company policies and procedures
Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
Enters approved invoices into Yardi software, ensuring correct charge of unit and account.
Corporate office clerks will print and obtain signatures on all accounts payable checks.
Distributes signed checks as required.
Contacts vendors if there are questions concerning invoices or statements.
Answers all vendor inquiries.
Maintains all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.
Assists corporate financial officers and branch personnel as necessary.
Assists in monthly closings.
Prepares analysis of accounts, as required.
Performs filing and copying.
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two to three years’ previous experience.
Data entry skills
Exemplary Customer Service skills.
Time Management skills
Experience using accounting software.
Preferred Education and Experience
Two-year degree in accounting
Prior experience using YARDI accounting software.
