Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, motivated, and hardworking Customer Service Representative to join our team. The qualified candidate will support the Parts and Service Teams through quoting & order processing of proper replacement parts and training options for customers. The candidate will also serve as a back-up role for the Order Desk Team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with customer quote and order requests via phone, fax, or e-mail
Research replacement parts through manuals, the Internet, and working with other departments or vendors as needed
Provide viable training options for customers and assist with order processing and proper billing for each
Serve as a back-up for the Order Desk Team; Order Entry and Customer Master Data roles
Work with internal teams to improve work processes and efficiencies
Build, maintain, and manage customer relationships
Maintain an excellent representation of our company
Manage multiple tasks and prioritize successfully in a fast-paced environment
Work to achieve department goals and business KPIs set forth
Adhere to all health and safety requirements
All other duties as assigned
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent is required; post-high school courses are desirable
Must have previous customer support experience
Knowledge of or the ability to learn the entire order entry system and product lines – experience with SAP preferred
Must be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
Demonstrated ability to perform effectively as a team player and to carry out assignments accurately
Ability to prioritize work to meet deadlines
Uncompromising attitude towards quality, customer service, professionalism and integrity is essential
Dedication to constant improvement is required
Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail
Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong analytical skills; creative problem solver
Physical Demand and Work Environment
Physical Demands: Employee is occasionally required to sit for extended periods of time; Repetition with activity; computer work.
Work environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
