About the Role
Roo is looking for a Digital Marketing Intern to assist the marketing team. The goal is to drive traffic to Roo’s brand by assisting with the implementation of digital marketing strategies for web optimization. The ideal candidate would have a background in digital marketing, writing, and a strong understanding of the importance of having an online presence.
Assisting Sr. Digital Marketing Manager and marketing team members with all aspects of our digital marketing including web content management, and assisting with blog-related tasks
Update website content and other related projects for website optimization
Assist with content creation for paid campaigns retargeting campaigns
Assist with demand-generation efforts
Research and complete templated write-ups for various states for veterinarians to receive their DVM license in various states (tips, tricks, policies, licensing, etc.)
Background in digital marketing
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Excellent communication & organizational skills
Desire to learn
Timely and efficient in task accuracy and completion
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Flexible & agile, ability to pivot quickly
Driven to improve processes/ communications
Excited to join an ever-growing team of professional diverse individuals
Ability to work up to 25 hours per week
$18 – $20 an hour
