CUMULUS MEDIA | Syracuse is seeking a talented and dynamic Inside Digital Sales Executive who thrives in a competitive, fast-paced working environment. We are looking for a passionate, motivated, goal-oriented and highly competitive individual with a proven track record of over-achieving sales goals. Who We Are: Cumulus Digital Syracuse is a division of Cumulus media that offers top-of-the-line digital marketing solutions; targeted display ads, OTT/CTV, social media advertising- Meta, TikTok & Snapchat, targeted audio and email marketing to name a few. On top of the custom digital solutions, Cumulus Digital Syracuse offers its Cumulus Boost program, which is a subscription product that helps companies claim and boost their online presence and get found faster by customers. The Cumulus Boost program offers the opportunity to increase operational efficiency by consolidating the space where companies can manage their online reviews, social media posting, and online lead submissions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and qualify businesses that can benefit from our digital marketing services

  • Secure appointments with key business decision makers through cold calling, networking or other means of booking meetings

  • Help conduct client needs analysis meetings, presentation meetings and Boost product demos

  • Take thorough notes during all client meetings and track all activity, notes and follow up activities in the company CRM

  • Continuously move prospects forward through the sales process

  • Act as primary contact for Cumulus Digital to communicate relevant and important information or relay client questions

  • Coordinate account set up and payment information between client and internal accounting systems

  • Enter accurate order information into internal systems and maintain order accuracy

  • Maintain a full activity calendar of prospective businesses and create a robust pipeline in order to hit monthly sales goals and activity benchmarks

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, especially during the initial cold call

  • Ability to overcome objections in real time to further the sales process

  • 2-3 years minimum in a sales role where cold calling was a primary task required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms and CRM tools

  • Experience developing new business relationships in a sales role

  • Strong understanding of lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospects

  • Comprehension of sales metrics in order to fill a sales funnel and robust pipeline of residual business

  • Positive attitude with the willingness to get beyond comfort zone to grow professionally

  • High energy and passion for the job

  • Flexible and creative

  • Digitally savvy with a basic understand of how businesses reach customers through digital marketing

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or related experience

What we offer:

  • An expected salary in the range of $48,000 to $60,000
