About the role:
You’ll work with our marketing team to build and define Maker’s organic social media presence on Instagram. The role will be responsible for planning, producing, editing, and posting content as an independent contractor. If you love Instagram, excel at building an audience and making captivating content, and are ready to be the face of Maker on that platform, this is the role for you!
You live on social media – you are on top of new trends and can quickly put together creative, engaging content
You are an excellent writer and can craft witty captions
You are pumped to be the face of a quickly growing brand
You love wine and supporting craft producers in the wine world – and have a desire to make the industry more inclusive for new drinkers!
Own and execute the organic social media strategy for Maker Instagram including planning and executing of creative, scheduling/posting content, and engaging with our followers on that channel
ABR (always be recording) raw, relatable, authentic, value-driven content
Stay up to date on the latest daily trends and propose content concepts that appeal to Maker’s target audience and keep up with the competitive landscape
Build and nurture a strong Maker community on Instagram with tactics like creating regular content series, replying to every comment and DM, like-comment-share content from Maker influencers, affiliates, and fans – and so much more
2+ years Instagram experience; experience scaling personal and/or brand accounts
Comfortable being in front of the camera regularly
Expert at video editing, ability to produce original Instagram videos quickly
Flexible schedule; 10-20 hours per week
Passion for wine (and Maker!) is a plus – some wine education or knowledge helpful
Open to remote US; CA/OR/WA preferable
