The Role
We are looking for a Junior Accountant and capable “do-er” with a positive attitude and eagerness to have a lasting impact on the Finance department and JKR at large. The ideal candidate would be highly organized, process-oriented and mindful of deadlines. Someone who seeks continuous process improvement and is able to learn quickly and take on new software.
You will report to the Financial Controller.
You will:
Prepare and send invoices to clients
Follow up on POs and overdue invoices
Process customer payments for posting for checks and credit card transactions
Prepare and enter vendor bills
Vendor relations management – create and manage vendor list, maintain vendor paperwork and filing, troubleshoot vendor issues/questions, research vendor alternatives/quotes as needed etc
Prepare and file 1099s
Assist with updating revenue recognition and forecasting worksheets
Prepare bank and credit crd reconciliations
Assist with the financial close by preparing account reconciliations, accruals, recording journal entries and maintaining accurate supporting documentation
Work with the Finance Director over the completeness and accuracy of the company’s financial records, according to US GAAP
Assist with other Ad Hoc projects as necessary
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Thorough understanding of accounting methods, bookkeeping and reconciliations is a must
Experience with month-end/year-end close process
Strong Excel Skills Pivot tables, Vlookups
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Compensation Range: $50,00 – $60,000 annually

Where a prospective employee will be paid within the compensation range listed above will depend on a number of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications; the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations, and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based.
