Job Summary
We are looking to hire a Lead Software Engineer to join our Effectv technology software engineering team. You will report into the Sr. Manager of software engineering & will support our Unified Planning platform. This platform provides the ability for our account executives to create advertising schedules & proposals, providing our clients with the right audience to help their marketing campaigns succeed. As a Lead Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, design, development, & support of this hugely impactful platform for Effectv, as well as other new software systems to support this rapidly evolving industry. You’ll be responsible for analyzing, testing, and assisting with the integration of new applications, as well as overseeing the documentation of all development activity. As a lead engineer, you’ll train non-technical personnel, provide guidance and support to other Engineers, and assist with tracking performance metrics. You will integrate your knowledge of business and functional priorities, and act as a key contributor in a complex and crucial environment. You will work cross functionally to coordinate with our Effectv Architecture teams to ensure alignment between application development and architectural standards. Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Ability to develop microservice APIs and frameworks as well as event driven architectures.
Understands security / vulnerability frameworks and their integration into DevOps workflows.
Architects and improves CICD and DevOps procedures for large development teams.
Collaborates with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conducts analysis to determine integration needs.
Designs new software and web applications, supports applications under development and customizes current applications. Develops software update processes for existing applications. Assists in the roll-out of software releases.
Trains junior Software Development Engineers on internally developed software applications.
Oversees the research, writing and editing of documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals and formal recommendations and reports.
Keeps current with technological developments within the industry. Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products. Reviews literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects.
Assists with technical leadership throughout the design process and assists in guidance with regards to practices, procedures, and techniques. Serves as a guide mentor for Software Development Engineers.
Assists in tracking and evaluating performance metrics. Ensures team delivers software on time, to specification and within budget.
Works with Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements. Tests and evaluates systems, subsystems, and components.
Acts as a technical contact and liaison for outside vendors and/or customers.
Presents and defends architectural, design and technical choices to internal and external audiences.
Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experientially proven) in Computer Science or similar discipline.
Extensive experience with the Microsoft technical stack (C#, .NET, .NET Core, SQL Server)
Extensive experience with the Azure framework with focus on Function Apps, Gateway, APIM, Service Bus, and cost estimation.
Experience with UI development using Angular.
Extensive and demonstrable experience with CICD / DevSecOps and their application, including use of Azure DevOps, GitHub, and security frameworks.
Preferred but not required knowledge:
Experience utilizing Terraform, Kubernetes to automate Devops for developed systems.
Experience with MuleSoft development (Anypoint Studio, Anypoint Platform) development

National Pay Range: $105,722.82 USD-$247,787.85 USD
