Manager of Marketing at Elevance Health

Location: Depending on location and proximity to a pulse point (Elevance Health Major Office), will determine hybrid schedule with the highest in-office commitment being 4-10 days in an office per month.

The Manager of Marketing is responsible for managing the marketing department for the Medicare Retention Program.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing the Retention team and development on member mandated kit content development and mailing of CMS mandated communications.

  • Overall accountability for delivery of 100% compliant and accurate retention materials (Annual Notice of Change, Evidence of Coverage, Non-Renewal/Service Area Reduction) for in market delivery at start of Medicare AEP (English and translated); as well as accountability for timely digital posting of required materials.

  • Responsible for understanding and applying all current marketing guidance to material creation; and responding to new regulation throughout the year.

  • Ensures all materials are properly filed and meet CMS and state marketing guidelines, as well as adhere to all internal compliance requirements.

  • Participate in audits processes (both internal and external), and internal compliance activities.

  • On point leader with critical business partners such as Strategy, Product, Compliance, Customer Service, and vendors to manage through barriers to success.

  • Responsible for identifying issues needing escalation in a timely manner and taking action.

  • Takes a leadership role in internal readiness forums and external vendor planning activities.

  • Communicates goals and tactics to both internal and external audiences.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 3 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

  • Must have at least 2 years of experience managing a team.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences

  • Document automation experience and experience with complex data sets preferred.

  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Adobe. 

  • Workfront experience preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge and recent experience with CMS Medicare marketing requirements, Medicare product process. ​
