Marketing Coordinator at The GN Group

The Marketing Coordinator will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to assist in the development and execution of programs across ReSound channels to build awareness and brand preference, acquire new customers and to provide sales support as needed.

The Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for managing the tactical execution of product launch activity, consumer marketing activity and other marketing projects, while ensuring brand alignment throughout each marketing communications program.

Product Launch Support and Material Development

  • Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to execute marketing communication and lead generation campaigns across all ReSound channels

  • Assists with print production and distribution of marketing collateral and point-of-sale materials for all products, services and business lines

  • Writes, edits and proofreads copy for print and digital communications

  • Works with product management to identify key sales and customer tools as needed, develop projects and programs to address these needs

  • Ensure all marketing communications consistently reflect corporate and product brand standards and deliver core key messages

  • Work with sales leadership to develop promotional materials to support ongoing sales initiatives

  • Track projects to planned timelines

  • Provide project management support in the launch of new products or product updates into the market

Digital Marketing Support

  • Work with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop ongoing digital marketing assets

  • Assist in managing content for websites and special projects by gathering, organizing, and implementing copy and images

  • Assist in managing marketing content schedule

  • Write customer email campaigns and prepare for execution

Event Marketing Support

  • Assist with development of sales and marketing content for industry and local tradeshows

  • Work with the Events Manager to manage customer events (fly-ins/road shows) to ensure proper coordination of marketing deliverables

  • Assist in on-site event support when needed

Competencies (Knowledge and Skills needed for this position.)

  • Ability to work independently and take initiative, anticipating and resolving problems

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects with appropriate prioritization in achieving results

  • Copywriting skills; ability to write persuasive copy that drives prospect action

  • Relationship building; ability to collaborate outside of the department to enlist the cooperation of other organizational stakeholders

  • Knowledge of best practices/best uses of each communication medium, industry benchmarks.

  • Brand stewardship, branding best practices, how to integrate company brand with the product brand hierarchy, how to drive Brand consistency and standards.

  • Basics of graphic design to provide conceptual art direction

  • Strong proficiency with PC programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Desired Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing or related field

Experience:

  • Two years of experience in marketing, public relations or communications

  • Experience in medical device and/or hearing industry a plus but not required

Other Information

Working Environment: Combination of office setting and remote (home-based) work.  

Physical Demands: Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk/workstation are required. Regular use of phone, computer and email is essential. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work: Full-Time: 40 Hours/Week

Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 5:00PM
