The Team
The Institutional Strategic Marketing Team delivers data-driven, omni-channel marketing capabilities and strategic solutions to drive lead generation and sales opportunities, helping brokers and employers understand the Group Insurance value proposition.
The Role
The Marketing Specialist reports into the Director of Distribution Marketing and focuses on Marketing Planning, Development and Execution for Sales Enablement (Finalist Presentations, Stewardship Presentations, Distribution Marketing Requests, Events) for the Group Insurance Clients and Distribution. The candidate should have experience across the Group Insurance business and products. (Voluntary benefits, Life Insurance, Absence & Disability and Wellness Solutions) The candidate will focus on and collaborate across internal teams including but not limited to: Sales, Creative, Technology, Data Analytics functions to support business opportunities by developing go-to-market B2B presentations and seeking feedback for continuous improvement of messaging.
Responsibilities:
Works with Marketing Directors to support our Distribution partners to understand business opportunities, market drivers, and growth potential. Provides effective marketing solutions to maximize opportunities
Create presentations leveraging approved templates to position market leadership, amplify the Prudential Group Insurance value proposition, report on marketing results, and make recommendations for improvement.
Leverage existing and/or coordinate/prepare customized marketing collateral and tools to be used in producer and prospective client meetings
Develops marketing presentations and materials that capture the Group Insurance value proposition, positioning Prudential as a market leader
Responsible for completing creative brief, creating the timeline and managing the creative for those materials against the timeline for these campaigns
Expected to serve as a consultative marketing expert with knowledge of products and services
Accountable for the accuracy, timeliness and effectiveness of marketing deliverables
Provides ad-hoc marketing project support to help drive business needs
Continually looks for ways to improve Marketing processes and procedures. Identifies best practices and recommends changes
This role is hybrid with on site work in our Newark office.
Required/Preferred Requirements:
Functional knowledge of Group Insurance products and services with an understanding of the sales and renewal process is preferred
3+ years Financial Services B2B Marketing Experience is expected
Ability to navigate internal teams and processes to deliver on objectives and goals.
Strong interpersonal skills, clear communication skills, team orientation, and the desire and ability to work with business partners across the organization.
Demonstrated ability to create a positive work environment, focused on collaboration, transparency, and execution in a matrixed organization.
Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects at a time under tight deadlines
Extensive PowerPoint expertise
Strong project management expertise

The salary range for this role is from $68,400.00 to $101,900.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
