We are looking for a Production Technology Manager Trainee – Americas. In this role you will be responsible for supporting our entities with Production technology related activities such as, Expansion (instalaltions, new equipments, machine moves, others) and Facility Maintenance. Support includes providing guidance, resources, and oversight to ensure optimum performance of equipment and the personnel that work on them.

Your Responsibilities
Ensure implementation and adherence to Headquarters Standards for Preventative Maintenance, plant layout; equipment purchase, etc. (Processes Standard)
Coordinate efforts to take advantage of Best Practices, new fixture design improvements, and machine reliability efforts. (Asset Utilization Improvement)
Coordinate Process Standardization by using resources available to implement Standard Production Processes throughout the Americas. (Process Standardization)
Manage the team under him/her responsibility with guidance to operations needs. (Training)
Work with the Global Expansion organization to insure timely and cost efficient expansion projects. (Expansion)
Support PTT Manager to organize and move equipments to where business needs. (Asset Management)
Support BUS with resources for the Construction or Closure of facilities including Corporate offices, in-house centers and new centers. (Facilities)
Oversight responsibility for team of engineers
Interact with all levels of the organization across North and South America
Learn to provide leadership with PTT Mgr, by guiding the team and taking responsibility of PTT team under his/her responsibility
Learn to Assist, mentor and advise Operational Leadership within the Region
Ensure equipment and facilities are in good working order, well maintained and efficiently managed.
Willingness to frequently travel domestically and abroad
Your Profile
Commits to corporate core values, goals, mission and vision.
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering and/or Business Management, Experience substitutes
2+ years of experience managing people
5+ years of experience with managing production outcomes according to customer specifications; Previous Coating industry experience preferred
Experience working through manufacturing/ Production environment to working the production cycles to deliver products on time
Strong Engineering, Interpersonal and customer service-oriented skills
Experience with MS Office.
Individual must have strong work ethic, be high-energy, and detail oriented
Good verbal and written communication skills.
