About the job
Primarily focused on the food industry, you will be responsible for executing and managing capital equipment projects for our Wastewater Treatment, Dewatering, and Thickening processes. Currently, this is a hybrid opportunity, with 2-3 days per week onsite.
As a part of the team, you will:
Collaborate with the sales personnel to respond to customer inquiries, providing them with both commercial and technical information as part of the bid process.
Secure currency contracts for the managed projects, ensuring accurate planning and execution of financial aspects.
Maintain the accuracy of the order backlog and margin reports using financial reporting tools.
Efficiently coordinate claim activities through the claim support system to ensure prompt resolution.
Develop and nurture strong working relationships with customers and sales channels to foster ongoing business partnerships.
Provide sales support by participating in sales calls and conference meetings with representatives, distributors, end-users, contractors, engineering houses, and prospective customers as required.
Travel is expected up to 25% to engage with customers and oversee project implementations.
What you know
You have a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, and:
A minimum of 2 years professional experience related to project engineering, project management, technical sales, and/or sales support.
Proven experience in managing capital equipment projects, preferably in Wastewater Treatment or a related industry.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and contract management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and sales teams.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
Willingness to travel for project management and sales-related activities.
Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Almost all travel is within the US, however, there may be times when international travel is required to Alfa Laval Engineering facilities or manufacturing sites.
