Rail Payable Clerk at The Andersons Inc

Position Overview

This position is responsible for rail payables. Responsibilities include internal and/or external customer service in the processing of AP transactions and resolution of discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post transactions in accounting system

  • Verify, research and resolve discrepancies

  • Perform accounts payable activities

  • Provide quality service to internal and external customers that is tactful and knowledgeable

What is expected of you and others at this level

  • Acquire basic skills to perform routine tasks

  • Work is prescribed and completed with little autonomy

  • Works with either close supervision, or under clearly defined procedures

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • 0-2 years’ relevant experience required
