Plans, conducts, oversees, and evaluates recreational programming.
Oversees the work activities of temporary employees.
Assists with marketing of recreational programming.
Maintains compliance by monitoring adherence to the established risk management plan. Recommends program policies and procedures to leaders.
EDUCATION
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (such as HSED or GED)
Preferred
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Recreation, Sports Management, or related field
WORK EXPERIENCE
Required
4 years of related experience with recreational programming
Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Required
CPR/AED within 180 days of hire
Standard First Aid 180 days of hire
Preventing Disease Transmission/Universal Precautions within 180 days of hire
May require related recreational certifications

This position requires both sedentary work and long durations of movement about the workspace. It requires the ability to move and transport objects and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential tasks with or without an accommodation.
