Social Media Coordinator (Part-time) at Julie

Approximately 20-30 hours per week. The compensation for this role is $20-25/hour.

Julie is a new healthcare company that offers FDA-approved emergency contraception with the goal of increasing access and helping users make safer, more informed choices. In October, Julie arrived on shelves in 4,500 Walmart doors nationwide, and most recently landed at CVS and Target stores. With a one-for-one donation program, we hope to become the largest donor of emergency contraception in the U.S. Julie is driven by the belief that all individuals deserve easy access to emergency contraception without stigma, fear, or anxiety. We aspire to reduce the roughly 48% of pregnancies in the U.S. that are either mistimed or unwanted.

Reporting to the Head of Content, the Social Coordinator will handle community management on social, and ensure the brand stays true to its core values while scaling our seeding program.

We will count on you to:

• Handle community management and respond to direct messages in a timely manner, escalating to the CX team when necessary. 

• Work with the team to ensure messaging is “on brand,” up-to-date, and effective.

• Compile seeding lists, directly reach out to social influencers, capture UGC, and share reports with the team.

• Fulfill internal sample/seeding requests on a daily basis. 

Who we are looking for:

• 1+ year professional experience.

• Strong understanding of the digital space and influencers on different social platforms.

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

• Highly organized, detail-oriented and eager to learn.

• Enjoys working independently as well as collaborating with a wider team to strategize and meet goals and objectives for each project.

• Has a “no task to small” attitude.

• Proficiency across social media channels (especially Instagram).
