Primary Duty:
Performs various accounting functions including payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and prepares financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within the facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Prepares, examines, or analyzes accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Prepares entries to accounts, such as general ledger accounts, documenting business transactions.
Works directly with Xanathane business unit in monthly receipts, accounts payable and receivables.
Prepares monthly close for Xanathane, prepares reporting packages and communicates results.
Prepares Xanathane budget annually
Generates and reviews weekly production and controllable spending.
Reconciles/investigates and corrects general ledger discrepancies.
Reviews and prepares audit schedule for all balance sheet accounts.
Processes cash receipts, posts to receivable accounts.
Responsible for collection of past due balances from customers; tracks receivables.
Performs Accounting Clerk duties, as required.
Frequently requires daily, weekend overtime; may be required to perform tasks on shifts other than days.
