The Sr Technical Services Rep is responsible for providing technical and operations support for programming,
troubleshooting, installing and servicing a vast number of security, fire, access and video systems for the ADS
technicians, administrative support teams and external customers.
Essential Job Duties:
Provides technical assistance for Technicians, Service Coordinators, Customer Support Center, and external customers.
Services and troubleshoots alarm systems in accordance with ADS programming and installation standards.
Supports Technicians in service call reduction to aid in customer retention, increase customer satisfaction, and minimize service costs.
Creates workflow processes to maximize time spent on jobs to reduce job costs.
Answers inbound calls for technical assistance.
Responds to emails and voicemails (directly to the customer and/or branch).
Assists with product and technology development based on current technology trends.

Ability to understand system wiring in order to remotely troubleshoot advanced technical

Minimum Qualifications:
2 Years alarm industry experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Possess a valid driver’s license
Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications:
2 Years alarm industry experience as an installer or service technician
Training others in a hands-on and classroom environment
Basic Electronics Training
Physical Demands:
Ability to operate computer, phone and other office equipment as needed
Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time
Ability to sit/stand at workstation for extended periods of time
Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
