Hello! I'm Ajahnae Johnson, a recent graduate from Cal State East Bay with a degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Communications. As a proud Black artist from Sacramento, CA, I have a passion for creating graphic design illustrations that captivate and inspire. My work combines simplicity with a playful twist, deeply influenced by the vibrant palette of my rich Black culture. I love integrating American graphic design trends with my unique style to create designs that truly resonate.
For me, design goes beyond aesthetics; it's about storytelling and reflecting shared values. I'm committed to making a meaningful impact through my work, always striving for growth and pushing boundaries. Collaboration is essential, and I thrive when teaming up with fellow artists and professionals who share my vision for visually compelling designs.
When I'm not immersed in graphic design, you can find me drawing, painting, cooking up a storm, or hitting the dance floor—because self-expression knows no bounds. I'm eager to explore opportunities that allow me to expand my skill set, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and contribute to a team environment. I am excited to find opportunities that will help launch my career as a graphic designer, whether through internships, volunteering, or project-based work.
Most of my experience comes from academic projects and personal artwork. I’ve developed strong skills in Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, and I’m also proficient in digital art using Procreate.
I’m excited to connect with companies where I can grow as a designer and apply my creativity to new challenges.
Let's connect and create something amazing together!
