Volt is immediately hiring a Industrial Painter / Sandblaster in Ontario, OH 44906

As a Industrial Painter / Sandblaster, you will:

• Operate blasting equipment to remove rust, paint, scale, and debris from metal surfaces
• Prepare surfaces using sandpaper, wire brushes, scrapers, steel wool, and related tools
• Apply industrial coatings including paint, enamel, lacquer, stain, and protective finishes
• Follow work orders, specifications, and supervisor instructions
• Inspect surfaces to ensure proper preparation before painting
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Begin working full-time in the blast booth while completing hands-on training
• Learn industrial painting techniques and coating applications
• Transition into a balanced role with increased painting responsibilities as skills develop

This is a full-time opportunity.

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma/GED
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the shift
• Resilience and positive attitude in a challenging work environment
• Good communication skills and willingness to ask questions
• Dependability and strong attendance record
• Safety-first mindset
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• 
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous manufacturing, warehouse, construction, painting, sandblasting, or industrial labor experience
  • Experience using hand and power tools
  • Familiarity with industrial coatings or surface preparation processes

No experience required. We will train the right candidate.

Pay Rate: $19.00 to $21.39 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
