Maintenance Technician II – 2nd shift at helenoftroy

** Position is Second Shift: 2 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. **

What you will be doing:

Ensures safe maintenance, repairs, and replacement of plant equipment and systems. Ensures maximum productivity and quality in accordance with safety, health, and fire regulations.

  • Maintains and repairs all equipment, buildings, and facilities. Troubleshoots all machinery and conveyor systems. Uses Pick2Light systems, which analyzes computer system errors enabling maintenance to make repairs, reset faults as needed

  • Establishes and coordinates priority work projects and repairs. Provides directions, assigns tasks and minor work of other personnel, and reports to the supervisor

  • Prepares reports, supervises maintenance schedules, and monitors employee time records. Reviews Preventative Maintenance (PM) work orders and logs them into Bench Mark, maintains parts inventory

  • Prepares schedules, supervises work activities, and performs actual work similar to other employees

Skills needed to be successful:

  • Trouble shooting and Diagnostics on MHE systems

  • Proficient in WCS, DMS, BHS, conveyor PM and MHE systems

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma

  • Specialized or technical training OR 2 years related experience equivalent to specialized or technical training

  • 5+ years experience

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
