What We Are Looking For
The Plant Manager leads the site manufacturing operations and ensures manufacturing excellence by leading the development, execution, and measurement of manufacturing activities to meet the expectations of the business related to safety, quality, service, cost, and people development. This role develops a culture of continuous improvement and works cross functionally with the Operational Excellence team to support and implement all corporate initiatives. The Plant Manager is ultimately the key representative for the Panduit site and will develop strong internal and external relations with the Panduit Business Units and functions as required.
What You Will Do
Be accountable for the operating performance of the manufacturing plant in safety, quality, delivery, inventory performance, and productivity
Work to inspire a culture of continuous improvement in the team by collaborating with CI leadership and implementing all operation excellence initiatives and lean/six sigma activities
Manage the introduction of new manufacturing technologies
Develop an annual business plan for the site and ensure solid processes and procedures are in place to deliver
Build, lead, and coach the performance and productivity of the site leadership team instilling a culture of excellence by inspiring and motivating employees, building trust, engagement, and confidence building
What You Will Bring
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred Experience: 10+ years of plant manager level experience
Required Expertise in:
Manufacturing processes
Materials management
Manufacturing Engineering/Automation experience
Financial/business acumen
Team leadership and culture building
