Qualifications:

•8+ years of experience in Construction Materials Testing, Special Inspections, geotechnical engineering, or the aviation field

•Licensed Professional Management Professional (PMP) or Engineer (PE) in Atlanta, or able to obtain within 6 months

•Strong working knowledge of applicable ASTM, AASHTO, FAA and/or DOT standards and procedures, Special Inspections, and geotechnical evaluations and recommendations

•Able to work and maneuver equipment (such as a loaded wheelbarrow) on uneven ground

•Successful candidate must meet requirements of the company’s Fleet Management Program, Substance Policy and Reference check program

Responsibilities:

•Serving as a Project Manager for medium to large Construction Materials Testing, Special Inspections, and Geotechnical projects

•Mentoring of other professionals and field-based staff in client development and project management

•Developing and maintaining a local client base, and professional network

•Coordination of local and regional business development and marketing efforts particularly in the aviation sector but others as well

•Generating and/or reviewing field and laboratory cost estimates and proposals in accordance with project plans and specifications, International Building Code (IBC) requirements, and client-provided requests for proposals
