Accounts Payable Specialist (Contract, Part-time) at Moveo

This role is responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for the company providing clerical, administrative, and financial support to Movéo. The A/P Specialist is responsible for monitoring the outflow of capital for the company providing clerical, administrative, and financial support to Movéo.

Accounts Payable

  • Oversee and monitor A/P systems, policies, and procedures.

  • Manages disbursement of funds for agency expenses.

  • Verifies vendor accuracy in invoices to match PO’s, IO’s & have the proper job number on them and are entered in eSilent Partner (SP) on a timely basis.

  • Reviews and approves payments to vendors, contractors, etc.

  • Analyzes trends, deviations from standards and other comparable data and provides recommendations and creative solutions to Controller.

  • Check runs on a weekly basis and mailed out allowing at least 3 business days for delivery.

  • Union National Bank (UNB) bank payments and bill pay.

  • Expense reports and invoices.

  • Helps prepare accounting-related entries.

  • Verification and authorization of completed check and expense requests coding.

  • Manages accounts reconciliations (ie: AMEX).

  • Maintains the fixed asset schedule.

  • Works on month-end and year-end close processes.

  • Assists in creating tax schedules for outside accountants.

  • Assists in pulling support for audits.

  • Assists in other accounting work unrelated to A/P.

General Duties

  • Maintain vendor relations.

  • Produce scheduled and ad hoc weekly, monthly, and quarterly Excel reports.

  • Develop report analytics to assist agency forecasting.

  • Miscellaneous problem-solving, as necessary.
