The Organisation

Our client is located in Morwell and been in operation for over 30 years. Using locally sourced sustainable materials they service La Trobe Valley and the wider community with their standout quality, design and range of products.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced accounts and administration assistant who is looking for a stable long-term position to join their team. You will provide support to the existing Finance, Administration manager and their contracts Administration staff. The role is Monday to Friday working from their Morwell office.

The Position

As a motivated and friendly individual, your organizational and communication skills will allow you to excel in this role where you will be responsible for:

  • Account inquiries

  • Daily banking

  • Assist with purchase orders and month-end reporting

  • Filing and record keeping

  • General administration tasks

  • Invoicing and daily processing

  • Debtors and collection

  • Data management of customer information

  • Credit checks and account setup for new client accounts

  • Assist with other ad-hoc duties as required

About You….

  • Proven experience in an administrative role

  • Experience with accounts receivable and payable

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • An organized and professional nature with the ability to multitask

  • Experience with XERO preferred

  • High attention to detail and a CAN DO attitude

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, WORD, EXCEL, OUTLOOK, and ACCESS
