Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Engineer with experience in migrating email and files for mergers and acquisitions. The role requires an individual who is proficient in Powershell, SharePoint Migration Tool, BitTitan, Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online, Office 365, with knowledge of mailflow, MX records, SPF, Proofpoint Gateway. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the migration of data, applications, and systems while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand the business requirements for the migration of email and files for mergers and acquisitions

  • Develop migration plans and strategies to ensure a seamless and efficient migration process

  • Responsible for the technical implementation of acquisitions related to collaboration tools including mail, files, and other collaboration items.

  • Responsible for integration of user identity into the collaboration ecosystem.

  • Work closely with engineering teams responsible for systems that manage identity, mail, files, and other collaboration items.

  • Implement and manage solutions such as Powershell, SharePoint Migration Tool, BitTitan, Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online, Office 365, and Proofpoint Gateway

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the migration process

  • Provide technical support to end-users during the migration process

  • Provide post-migration support and ensure the successful integration of data, applications, and systems

  • Maintain documentation of all migration plans, processes, and outcomes for future reference

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field

  • 5+ years of experience in application engineering

  • Experience with Powershell, SharePoint Migration Tool, BitTitan, Exchange 2016 and Exchange Online, Office 365, and Proofpoint Gateway is a must

  • Solid understanding and working experience of mailflow, MX records, SPF, and other relevant applications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
