Our Project

Location of Role

Inflexion Games studio is based in Edmonton Alberta, for these positions, we are looking for candidates based in Alberta. This will be fully remote work with part-time hours.

Inflexion Games is on the lookout for a Graphic Artist to join the UI/UX Art team. The Player Experience team is responsible for the interactive experience of our games, and the UI/UX Art team contributes to this vision by transforming design ideas into art that guides player action. 

This opportunity is aimed at emerging artists in Alberta who are new to the gaming industry or without gaming industry experience (recent art school graduates, for example). As a member of the Art Collective, you would be mentored by industry professionals to help you grow your professional portfolio, and get paid to work on UI assets that will be used in our game Nightingale. 

What you’ll do

• Create icons for use in various menus throughout our game, Nightingale

• Work in a variety of styles that fit under the umbrella of Nightingale’s visual aesthetic

• Work with and under the guidance of UI artists on the team

What we’re looking for

• All applications must show some examples of your work

• Proficiency in creating digital illustrations and designs

• A solid eye for graphic design fundamentals

• Familiarity with digital art authoring (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, etc)

• An openness to receiving constructive feedback and ambition to learn on the job

We’d be excited to see

• A portfolio demonstrating a diversity of working styles
