Primary Function
Under general supervision, assist in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), assist in budget analysis and development, and deliver reports to FP&A leadership to inform strategic and operating decisions. This position reports through Finance but will require regular interaction with managers from other Shared Services and Operations. Candidate will be an inquisitive learner with exceptional attention to details and analytical skills.
Primary Duties
Partner with Operations and other analysts to prepare, update and improve the company’s budget and forecasts
Prepare and deliver corporate reporting; including labor analysis, AR, AP, performance vs. budget, and variance analyses
Support Project Accounting Team with reporting and analysis of project-level performance
Assist as needed in the integration of newly acquired businesses into financial reporting, budgeting, and ERPs
Assist with the develop of meaningful data visualization and reporting tools
Assist with other ad hoc analyses as required
Requirements:
BA/BS or higher; or related experience
0-2 years of experience in an analytical role
Prior experience in analyzing and transforming large sets of data
Prior work experience in corporate FP&A preferred
Prior experience in the A/E/C or other Professional Services industry preferred
Highly motivated and curious self-starter with a demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks
Strong communication and organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
Intermediate Excel proficiency required (pivot tables, power query preferred)
Excellent time management skills
Experience/familiarity with Planful, Concur, Deltek Platforms, QuickBooks a plus
