✨The core mission of the Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist:
We are currently seeking a Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team.
Your main responsibilities will include maintaining accurate records of incoming payments, monitoring customer accounts, and coordinating with internal teams to resolve any payment discrepancies or issues. Additionally, you will assist with generating invoices, processing credit memos, and providing outstanding customer service to our clients.

🍺 The fellowship you’ll be joining:
As a Junior Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will work closely with the finance and accounting team and be responsible for managing our accounts receivable processes. Part of this role will also include close collaboration with the Revenue/Sales department.

Generate and send invoices to clients
Manage and track incoming payments, including verifying the accuracy of invoices and following up on outstanding payments
Collaborate with the sales and customer success teams to address any payment discrepancies or issues
Process credit memos and refunds
Prepare and distribute monthly statements to clients
Assist with month-end and year-end close activities related to accounts receivable
Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and analysis
Support the Americas and APAC Billing Processes
🏆 Skills, knowledge, and experience points required to unlock the role of Jr. Accounts Receivable Specialist at Hack The Box:
1-2 years of experience in an accounts receivable or similar finance role
Knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
Experience working with accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, or similar – NetSuite experience is a plus!)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Proficient in Office Suite
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of revenue recognition rules and principles is a plus.
Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
