The main responsibilities of a Junior Art Director at HLK will include developing concepts and designs for specific clients. The Junior Art Director will work under the supervision of an Associate Creative Director or Creative Director.

Responsibilities

• Provide art direction in a variety of formats and media under supervision of an Associate Creative Director and/or Creative Director 

• Develop and execute creative concepts that meet assignment objectives 

• Demonstrate knowledge of current trends and behaviors 

• Act as a team player with a collaborative mindset

Qualifications

• A strong portfolio with a breadth of design and/or art direction samples

• Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (proficient in Sketch is a bonus)

• Experience with Microsoft Office, G Suite and similar software applications

• Bachelor’s degree in commercial art or advertising design and/or relevant experience required 

• Ability to take constructive and positive feedback

• Self-motivated and able to take personal accountability for work
