Description

Interapt is seeking a Junior Cloud Engineer to join our Information Technology and Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based systems aimed at transforming our clients’ businesses. This is a remote entry level role and we are looking for someone who is excited for the evolution of this team and overall role! The successful candidate will work closely with other members of the team to optimize cloud infrastructure and services, while also ensuring the highest level of service availability, security, and performance. Responsibilities

• Research and support the implementation, and maintenance of cloud-based systems.

• Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure and services to ensure the highest level of service availability, security, and performance.

• Collaborate with other members of the team to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.

• Participate in the development and implementation of IT security policies and procedures.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest cloud computing technologies and industry trends.

• Assist in the development and execution of disaster recovery plans.

• Contribute to the development and documentation of technical procedures and configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Desire and aptitude to work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Understanding of cloud computing technologies, including virtualization, storage systems, and networking ideal

• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
