Machine Operator – 12HR PM Shift at Medline Industries, Inc.

JOB SUMMARY: Operate production equipment according to instructions to ensure proper operations and product output. 

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Operate and monitor machinery and associated equipment to detect and report malfunctions. 

• Prepare product for transfer and/or final processing. Inspect output for quality and accuracy. 

• Perform machine clean-up, set-up, and minor machine maintenance such as cleaning debris from machine, perform product and instrument checks, and complete standard equipment repairs and part replacement. 

• Ensure good housekeeping is maintained clear and orderly in assigned area.

EDUCATION: 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 

ADDITIONAL:

• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

• Basic math (addition and subtraction) required.

• Must be able to stand for 12 hours per day for up to 6 days a week.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Must be able to bend, twist, reach, push, lift for extended periods daily.

• Ability to work well with others in order to accomplish team objectives.

• Must have high sense of urgency.

• Work might require standing/sitting for extended periods of time.

RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 

• Previous manufacturing experience a plus.
