Schedule
We are actively hiring for a Process Technician for our night shift operations. Apply to this opening if you are interested in this position:
Twelve (12) hour shift are from 7:00pm to 7:00am [2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on schedule (must be flexible to train on either shifts, day, or night)]
Every other Friday, Saturday, and Sunday off
Process Technicians
Responsible are for a variety of duties on various equipment and departments (extruders, coaters, slitters, material handling, shipping and receiving).
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous operator experience in a manufacturing environment, preferred
Ability to use basic hand tools
Basic computer skills
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to read/use ruler or tape measure, basic math skills
Basic computer skills
Ability to lift 50 pounds, routinely
Ability to stand/walk/bend/kneel /crouch for up to 12 hours.
A strong commitment to safety, customers, quality, and productivity is essential.
Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and steel-toe shoes.
All required PPE is provided by Loparex.
Duties
Report to work in a timely manner, and in the proper condition for your duties
Operate manufacturing machinery in a safe, efficient, and productive manner to rewind and/or slit product according to customer specifications.
Use computer system to enter information, print paperwork, access orders, read and understand customer specification, and set-up assigned machine accordingly.
Understand machine operation and set-up including start-up, product changeovers, shut down, edge guide, splicing, threading machine, shears, tension adjustments, etc.
Troubleshoot and correct issues on equipment
Package and handle finished and unfinished product (also according to customer specifications), with accuracy in weights, diameters and other measurements, labeling, pallet specifications, shrink wrapping, banding, etc.
Operate forklift, or other equipment as necessary.
Assure all quality checks have been performed, and product meets all customer specifications.
Perform other duties as identified by the Team Manager or the Production Manager. Assist the shift teams as required by the Team Manager
