Payroll Administrator at Aston Carter

• Collaborate with payroll administrator by providing employee hours, running parallel payrolls for job costing purposes, and reconciling discrepancies in data

• Collaborate with staffing agencies by providing temporary worker hours, reconciling hours worked, and processing invoices

• Enter and maintain employee and temporary worker data in job costing software; enter manual data as needed for differential and other pay codes

• Prepare reports to include workers’ compensation class codes, workforce census, and certified payroll as defined by the project

• Ensure overall contractual compliance, providing accounting support and training for construction site management team, and performing other related activities and duties as assigned

• Maintain clear understanding of complex payroll procedures and policies

• Review all timesheets from employees for accuracy

• Process and complete reports timely as needed

• Resolve with all notices within timely manner(i.e. tax rates changes, tax levies, garnishments, etc.)

 

Qualifications:

-Experince applying payroll to jobs (job costing) – preferred but not a must

-Must have Industrial Industry experince: manufacturing, construction, engineering, or logistics

-Must have experince processing payroll for 100+ employees

-Proficient in Microsoft Excel

-Must have experince with payroll reconciliations

-ERP software experience
