YouTube and Social Media Content Editor

• Edit videos for our YouTube channel, ensuring a high standard of quality, visual appeal, and seamless storytelling.

• Collaborate with content creators and stakeholders to understand the vision and goals for each video project.

• Cut, trim, and arrange footage, audio, and graphics to create a cohesive narrative and maintain a consistent style.

• Add transitions, effects, and other enhancements to enhance video content and improve viewer engagement.

• Create eye-catching thumbnails that accurately represent the video and capture the attention of potential viewers.

• Optimize video content for search engine optimization (SEO) by researching and incorporating relevant keywords, tags, and descriptions.

• Keep up-to-date with YouTube trends, algorithm changes, and best practices to maximize video visibility and reach.

• Ensure timely delivery of edited videos, adhering to content schedules and production timelines.

• Collaborate with social media managers to repurpose and distribute edited videos across various social media platforms.

• Posting content to different social media platforms.

• Take content from the videos and use those as descriptions and posts when sharing to social media.

VA Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.

• Strong understanding of video editing techniques, storytelling principles, and visual aesthetics.

• Familiarity with YouTube content creation, trends, and best practices.

• Ability to create captivating thumbnails that effectively convey the video’s content and attract viewers.

• Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and keyword research.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with content creators and other team members.

• A portfolio or examples of previous video editing work demonstrating creativity and technical skills.

• Very strong command of written and verbal english.
