The Financial Accountant will prepare consolidated statutory reports and also cover key responsibilities relating to month-end, year-end and audit processes.

Description
The Financial Accountant will be responsible for but not limited to:
Delivery of organisation-wide month-end and year-end close-off process
Assist with the preparation of the organisation’s annual and interim financial statements
Provide technical accounting advice and undertake actions to support decision making for the organisations strategic initiatives
Assist the organisation’s audit process and compliance obligations
Facilitate process improvements and new system implementations and provide relevant training
Develop strong relationships and collaborate effectively with other relevant business units, and key staff
Profile
The successful candidate will meet the following:
Relevant higher education qualifications
CA / CPA or working towards
Experience in a similar financial accounting based role
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to prepare and present reports to key stakeholders
Excellent computer literacy skills such as Microsoft Excel
