Responsibilities
- What You’ll Do:
- We are looking for a Journeyman Operations Security Analyst, Security to support the PMA-201 Weapons Systems office. The candidate will bring their experience in both physical security requirements and security process requirements for cleared personnel.
- Secure Office environments requiring the candidate to be onsite.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility for collateral secret physical environment
- Process all visit certs for the program office via DISS
- Conduct monthly security and safety self-inspections and walk-throughs of the facility to ensure equipment, common areas, and classified information storage areas meet NAVAIR safety and security standards.
- Responsible for submission of facility and security information trackers/taskers.
- Distribute Security Indoctrination Brief and protocols to all onboarding employees
- Process SIPRNet access and SAAR-Ns as needed
- Attend monthly NAVAIR security meetings, PSM meetings as needed
- Assist with CPI assessments and Program Protection Planning
- Maintains Security Classification Guide (SCG).
- Coordinate/ Interface with SCIF security personnel
- Review and update physical safe markings
- Maintain ownership of physical safe key(s)
- Update and maintain combinations for secure meeting door access
- Tracking of annual security trainings for personnel
- Review and update of program security SOP.
- Coordination of video capabilities in conference rooms.
- Manage Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) and Emergency Action Plan (EAP) documents for Emergency Response.
- Tracks and manages check-in and check-out procedures and seating chart for program office personnel.
- Programs Common Access Cards (CACs) in security system for swipe access.
- Responsible for training personnel on the day-to-day security procedures and opening/closing of secure areas.
- Reports and investigates security violations and possible compromises to the appropriate authority.
- Submits work requests for building construction projects and space reconfigurations.
- Updates the SF-700 and associated continuation sheets to ensure appropriate access to classified containers and workspaces.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
- Experience can be substituted for degree.
- Experience:
- 3+ Years of combined experience performing duties described with at least 1 year of experience supporting management of personnel clearance tracking systems and verification of security clearances for projects.
- Other Requirements:
- Must have an Active DOD Secret Level clearance
- Software:
- Defense Information System for Security (DISS)
- Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS)
- Base Security Information Control System (BASICS II)
- Technology:
- Personal computer, printer, copy machine and other general office equipment.
