What You’ll Do
The Billing Specialist is an integral part of protecting the company’s revenue while compassionately serving our customers. In this role, you will own the accounts receivable functions of our small to mid-size customer base.
You will be responsible for:
Coordinating cross-departmentally to ensure accuracy of customer invoicing
Primarily responsible for taking incoming customer calls to resolve billing related issues
Adjusting customer accounts for changes in subscription plans or added services requested
Maintain customer collection ledgers and follow up with delinquent customers respectfully conveying need for maintaining current account balances
Maintain meticulous notes regarding customer interactions for cross-departmental visibility
Continually improve upon processes
What You’ll Bring
1 year of relevant experience
Prior SaaS billing experience preferred
Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques
Personality: Empathetic, high integrity, trustworthiness, task oriented, and meticulous record keeping
Working knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
Strong customer service and problem solving skills
Comfortable working in multiple online environments
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Excellent ability to organize and coordinate tasks
Local candidates only (Houston, Texas area); this is a hybrid work model
