The role
The 9LV CMS is currently operational on both the ANZAC and LHD platforms and development is ongoing on a number of other platforms within the Royal Australian Navy and for a range of International customers.
The Software Test Engineers main focus will be designing, reviewing and execution of Formal test documents as well as Executing Test Plans and T&E activities.
Further, the successful candidate will:
Develop formal test documentation for the 9LV product.
Provide Test support to Software development and Integration Teams
Support the design of Test Plans
Execute Test Plans.
Design, implementation and execution of test events.
Produce test related artefacts required to support project deliverables and internal reviews.
Participate in reviews of software test documentation as required.
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home/office will be considered for this role.
About you
Your skills and experience will include:
Writing software test cases.
Defect identification and reporting.
Well-developed communication skills (both written and oral).
Well-developed ability to work with others in a team environment.
Well-developed problem-solving skills and the ability to develop creative and innovative solutions.
Products, development environment and tools used to develop and support software.
Experience in test automation tools and frameworks, such as RobotFwk (desirable)
As Defence security clearance is required for this role, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain an NV1 clearance.
