The Quality Engineer is accountable for assuring all new products meet the requirements defined by the Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams. This position will work to develop, implement, and maintain quality testing standards and methods to ensure high quality. The Quality Engineer will report to the Corporate Quality Manager.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform device and system validation test
Perform hardware, software, functional testing with test tools such as Oscilloscope, Logic Analyzer, Function Generator, etc.
Report hardware and software quality issues into bug tracking systems
Record and update validation report on each performed task
Contribute to validation test plans and test cases preparation
Participate in root-cause analysis and other problem-solving activities to identify effective corrective actions and process improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
2 years of relevant engineering experience
Working knowledge of Hardware and Firmware development life cycle.
Excellent technical and analytical skills
Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
