As a UI/UX Designer, you will be instrumental in enhancing the visual appeal and usability of software products, creating a positive online user experience and providing valuable input on functional requirements, product designs, and the system’s look and feel.
Job Description
We are looking for a UX/UI Designer. This position will be a full-time and remote contract.
What You’ll Do
Tackle complex challenges and create well-researched user journeys for both websites and mobile applications
Conduct user research, including interviews and observational studies, and synthesize findings into actionable insights
Translate insights into high-quality designs, building interactive prototypes for stakeholder validation
Collaborate directly with stakeholders across the business to understand their needs and solve problems creatively
Work independently and within a multi-disciplinary team to bring innovative ideas to the table
This role will include crafting both web-based and native software applications with a focus on application flow, ease of use, and simplistic design.
What You’ll Need
Required
Several years of experience in UX/UI design
A passion for typography, grid systems, and color theory
Proficiency with design and prototyping tools like Figma
Strong skills in UX research, both qualitative and quantitative
Excellent communication skills with experience working with developers, SMEs, and executives
Expertise in interaction design, workflow efficiency, and attention to detail
Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to bring designs to life
Knowledge in conducting formal usability testing
A strong grasp of accessibility best practices
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
