Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this hands-on leader will serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for HubSpot Marketing Hub while partnering closely with Demand Generation, Sales, Sales Operations, and business leaders to align campaign execution, lead management, technology, data, and performance measurement. The role may manage employees, contractors, or agency partners as the function grows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the function: Design and implement the marketing operations operating model, including governance, roles, workflows, service-level agreements, campaign standards, capacity plans, documentation, and a roadmap for continued maturity.

  • Own HubSpot: Lead the administration, architecture, governance, and optimization of HubSpot Marketing Hub, including workflows, campaigns, forms, landing pages, lists, permissions, integrations, reporting, and data standards.

  • Operationalize campaigns: Partner with Demand Generation, Events, Creative, Sales, and Sales Operations to build, test, launch, track, and optimize integrated campaigns and automated nurture programs.

  • Manage lead flow: Own lead lifecycle architecture, including fit and engagement scoring, qualification criteria, lifecycle stages, routing logic, service-level agreements, recycling, handoff, and feedback loops with Sales.

  • Develop segmentation: Define and maintain audience segments using demographic, behavioral, intent, engagement, account, and lifecycle data.

  • Own the technology workflow: Partner with Sales Operations to optimize integrations between HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics, and other marketing technologies, with clear system ownership, reliable synchronization, and accurate reporting.

  • Ensure data quality: Establish and maintain governance standards for taxonomy, required fields, naming conventions, consent management, deduplication, database health, retention, and quality assurance, in partnership with the appropriate stakeholders to support compliance requirements.

  • Measure performance: Build dashboards, funnel reporting, attribution models, and performance analyses that connect marketing activity to engagement, qualified pipeline, revenue, and return on investment.

  • Optimize conversion: Translate performance data into clear recommendations for campaign optimization, audience strategy, budget allocation, funnel conversion, operational efficiency, and revenue growth.

  • Enable adoption: Document processes, develop user guidance, and train marketing and cross-functional teams on HubSpot standards, campaign operations, reporting, and lead management practices.

  • Scale responsibly: Evaluate emerging HubSpot capabilities, artificial intelligence features, integrations, and marketing technologies, and develop the staffing, budget, productivity, and technology plan required as the function grows.

Measures of Success

  • Lead routing accuracy, speed to lead, and follow-up completion

  • Conversion rates across lifecycle stages and progression to qualified pipeline

  • Marketing-sourced and marketing-influenced pipeline and revenue

  • CRM and marketing database accuracy, completeness, and hygiene

  • Reporting accuracy, dashboard adoption, and delivery of actionable insights

  • Operational efficiency, process compliance, and stakeholder satisfaction

  • Improvement in attribution, return-on-investment visibility, and decision quality

Required Qualifications
