What We Are Looking For

The Accounts Receivable Manager will oversee the credit function on a daily basis. They will review inquiries regarding new credit from new customers and current credit status of customers to alleviate any credit concerns. This role will work with customer disputes and customer collections and may be pulled in to help resolve customer issues. The Accounts Receivable Manager will manage the overall credit which can consist of extending $200 to $250 million open A/R globally. International controllers located in EMEA, Asia, and Latin America will liaison with this A/R Manager.

What You Will Do

  • Develop, design, and implement accounting practices, procedures, and processes

  • Maintain accurate compilation, analysis, and reporting of accounting data; and interpret data from records

  • Coordinate accounting services and integrate with operating needs through the management of a team

  • Manage day-to-day accounting activities

  • Participate in annual audits and projects

  • Provide technical expertise and advice to functional or operational area managers

  • Review, verify, and approve transactions and journal entries

  • Create staff development plans and assess performance against goals

What You Will Bring

  • Required Degree: Bachelor’s Degree

  • Preferred Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting

  • Credit experience is key for this position

  • Experience with Oracle ERP and/or Oracle Cloud ERP is plus

  • 5-7 years’ managerial experience in Accounting, A/R, and Credit

  • Experience managing a global team with a minimum of 6 direct reports

  • Experience managing the credit of existing customers

  • Experience resolving disputes or helping the team resolve disputes

  • Ability to work with the sales team who are bringing in opportunities to extend credit or customers who may need additional time to pay

  • Open minded to take on new opportunities
