Job Description

As an Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex engineering projects within the Electronic Solutions business unit. You will lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative avionics and sensor technologies that enhance aircraft performance and safety.

You will report directly to our Sr. Software Engineering Manager and you’ll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

In this role, you will impact the successful execution of cutting-edge aerospace projects that support commercial aviation, defense, and space platforms, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering project activities from concept through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to meet technical and programmatic requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, and quality to resolve technical challenges.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE

• 5 + years of proven experience managing complex engineering projects
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, risk management, and engineering processes.
• Expertise in systems engineering, integration, and testing methodologies relevant to aerospace electronics.
• Familiarity with tools such as MS Project
