Agile Project Manager – Remote Contract via Motion Recruitment

Our client, a leading professional services and consulting firm, is hiring an Agile Project Manager! This is a fully remote role!

In this role, you’ll be managing projects for a pharmaceutical R&D team, helping keep projects on track, monitoring timelines, costs, and risks, preparing presentations and project updates for leadership, and coordinating meetings and workshops. You’ll also work with the team on project planning and making sure everything is moving forward smoothly.

Required Skills & Experience

• Project Management – Advanced (6-9 years’ experience)

• Pharma drug development expertise, with a background in Drug Discovery, Pre-Clinical Research, or a wet lab environment

• Experience supporting Astellas or an early-stage biotech

• Strong PMO skills: analytical rigor, business case and cost tracking, templates and committee-ready presentations, maintaining project tools, tracking dependencies and risks, and organizing meetings and workshops

This a 5+ month W2 contract with benefits and the possibility of extension!

Daily Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of agile projects.

• Facilitate agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

• Track and manage project progress, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.

• Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.

• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders.

• Ensure adherence to agile methodologies and best practices.
