What You’ll Do:
The Operations Manager is responsible for providing leadership and systems to efficiently operate all production, as well as provide support towards corporate initiatives. In this role, the Operations Manager will work toward continuously improving all processes focusing on the elimination of non-value add operations and waste in the supply chain while working with other departments as necessary to support these goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for the overall safety of all employees ensuring proper procedures are applied when working operations and maintaining a safe physical environment.
Meet customer requirements for quality and delivery
Establish clear goals and expectations; track progress against those goals
Achieving established budget
Provide supervision and technical leadership
Be fully conversant with the operation and performance parameters of the production equipment and its effective use as a production tool from the concurrent perspective of safety, production, and quality
Provide expertise and leadership in materials management, determining customer requirements, organizing functional team and establishing the methods and procedures necessary to satisfy these functions
Respond quickly and effectively to direct customer requests as well as Aludyne sales and marketing requirements for information, quotation, documentation and prototype parts
Conduct and document quotation and contract reviews prior to committing to fulfillment of customer requirements
Employees are expected to work onsite to attend in person meetings and collaborate as necessary

Requirements
What We Need from You:
·
Computer Skills – Competent in working with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with Plex a plus
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
Problem-solving skills
Conflict resolution skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Production Management, or related field or equivalent experience
Five or more years of related experience in the automotive industry.
High School diploma or equivalency (HSED or GED).
