Job Description

NTT DATA Services currently seeking Pharmacy Technicians/CSR for a remote contract opportunity. This is a 1 year contract role.

2 shifts available:

Mon-Fri 11a-11p (8 hour shift) CST; Training M-F for approx. 6 weeks, 8AM-4:30PM CST (OR)

Mon-Fri 8am-8pm (8 hour shift) CST; Training M-F for approx. 6 weeks 8am-4:30pm

Pay rate $20 per hour.

Primary duties include taking Prior Auth in-bound calls from providers, pharmacies, members, etc providing professional and courteous phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process. Maintains complete, timely and accurate documentation of reviews. Transfers all clinical questions, escalations and judgement calls to the pharmacist team.

Will also assist with other duties as needed to include but not limited to: outbound calls, reviewing and processing Prior Auth’s received via fax and ePA, monitoring and responding to inquiries via department mailboxes and other duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Required Skills:

2+ years of experience in a high-volume Healthcare or PBM/Prior Authorization call center

2+ years’ experience with medical terminology and coding.

2+ years utilizing MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, etc) on a daily basis

1+ years’ experience as a pharmacy technician coordinating activities in an administrative support function.

Pharmacy Technician certification is preferred but not required at a state or national level. Will also consider a Pharm Tech Trainee license.

Education:

Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.

NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for U.S.-based positions. The starting pay range for this remote role is $20.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
